Who controls public contracts?

According to a survey from Transparency International Belgium, a majority of the candidates for the last regional elections consider that subsidies and public contracts in Belgium are still being attributed with a lack of transparency. 30.4% of the Brussels candidates, 35.5% of the Walloon candidates and 59.9% of the Flemish candidates have doubts about the public contracts procedure and its ability to guarantee transparency and equal treatment among competitors.
