Towards a resource-efficient transport system

Between 1990 and 2007, transport sector greenhouse gas emissions have increased by 26% in Belgium, against 16% in France and 11% in Sweden. We have no choice but making our transports less polluting if we want to meet the EU’s 2020 environmental objectives. This report from the European Environment Agency gives us an overview of the main policy options available to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
