With an average total tax rate of 52%, companies in Belgium continue to bear one of the heaviest overall tax burdens at an international level. In recent years, no significant reduction in the overall tax burden has taken place. Instead, 20 additional taxes have been identified since 2007. These are the highlights of the second Total Tax Contribution report by PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium.
