Electronic prescriptions, in Belgium soon

François Daue, Brieuc Van Damme
There’s some good news from the healthcare sector: a pilot project for electronic prescriptions is on its way. Electronic prescriptions offer more security to the patient, improve the quality of care and push down costs. François Daue and Brieuc Van Damme hope this project will be as successful as in Sweden where net benefits are estimated to reach 97 million euros annually.
