What are the 21st century skills and competences in OECD countries? In this OECD report, the authors investigate the question and make some recommendations to prepare workers to knowledge-intensive economies. Most of these skills and competences are related to knowledge management and are supported by ICT (information and communication technologies). Governments have to properly adapt their educational systems so as to be sure young people will be able to integrate such skills and competences, the authors say.
