Our mission:

The Institute is open to proposals for collaboration from individuals and/or organisations with relevant research experience or with ideas for future research developments.

We are especially interested in proposals to conduct short-term research projects (less than one year) on one of the Itinera themes. Alternatively, recent existing research on one of the Itinera themes can be updated or reframed to increase its relevance for the Itinera Institute.

The Itinera Institute can provide logistic capacity for the people working on the research project (office room, computer, library, etc). Where possible and necessary, a research budget can be determined on a case by case basis.

Itinera is an independent institute which is neither financed by political parties, professional organisations, interest groups nor public authorities. 

Itinera is a non-profit organisation which aims to share all its material free of charge with everyone interested.

 

We fully rely on gifts, bequests and financing from private individuals, families, foundations, and companies. All contributions are exclusively linked to the mission of the Itinera Institute and guarantee full freedom for the researcher.
