As a stand alone and fully independent institute, Itinera is not financed by political parties, professional organisations, lobby groups or governmental bodies. Its primary source of revenue stems therefore from private benefactors. Financial support is organized on a structural basis, i.e. multiyear and not project based. Some 30 donators and sponsors from various economic sectors thus contribute to the functioning of the institute. The Itinera Institute is a not for profit organisation with the Belgian statute of VZW-ASBL.
